We will have to disagree. I don't want to go back to black and white separate restrooms and blacks in the back of the bus, which is what we had in the times before "TV came along." Whether there is a relation between TV and the end of segregation, I do not know- but I'm sure there are a few doctoral dissertations on that. I have no nostalgia for a time when my daughters would have had a hard time getting into any 4 year college, in the time before most people acknowledged sexism and racism. I like it now. I like the crowd (thankfully the majority in this country) who use those words because they know they describe real things. Perhaps you have not been the victim of sexism or racism, if so, lucky you. But for the people who have been, they are not "jargon words."
