Dan, et al,

I hope you are right and we hold in the 290 area.

The only significant mention of PMs in this weeks Barron's was in an interview with Paul Stuka (Osiris Partners - Mutual Funds), He is very bullish on gold stocks and has done well with them the past year. He believes gold is in a secular bull market. FWIW, Epstein, in his Economic Beat column, presents a strong case for not being concerned about consumer debt being excessive. He argues that the ratio of debt t income is about normal though his data shows that it is near an high.

The GMI/POG ratio:

On 03/14, the Barron's GMI was 362.00 up slightly from the previous week's value of 360.76. With the POG also up slightly to 290.30 (03/15), the ratio was up slightly at 1.25

The ratio a year previously was 111, up substantially from its low.

Cheers,
Larry
