UVa? I had a cousin that once went there (or worked there)... As I recall, she liked the school a lot. I think she was a student there, and may have worked there as a student, before getting a job in the real world (as she put it). I haven't seen her but once in a couple of years now. She's all growed up with children of her own approaching college age. Lives in Colorado now...

I once was at UNC. I forget why though. I think we (friends and me) were just touring NC and happened to pass by the campus, which at that time, was landscaped quite nicely. Don't remember much else about it except that they usually have a good basketball team...

Isn't that the truth! And I don't even know your daughter... I remember when I was looking at schools, one of my biggest fears was not "fitting" in... Which of course, I didn't... <g> But then again, maybe I did fit in, and just didn't realize it at the time. It's amazing what is so important to you as a young adult usually has very little lasting impact on the rest of your life. And the things you appreciate least, often are the same things that greatly shape your future...
