I believe you cannot sidestep by saying something like "I'm not prejudiced against Muslims, but against the Muslim faith" because you've just reversed the process. You've seen some examples of bad Muslims, generalized it to the Muslim faith, then back out to all Muslims. Whichever path taken, it is still prejudice.


That's a strawman argument.

I never said I was prejudiced against Muslims *OR* Islam.

I will boil what I mean down to this simple statement:

A man is not 'prejudiced' if after examining a belief system, or faith he comes to the conclusion this set of beliefs is in error. He has simply made a critical judgement about a way of thinking.

I would also further add: if you assume that what I am doing is defending my hatred for muslims then you have (in your words) judg(ed) an individual that you do not know or have never spoken to based on some generalization about what you think he believes.
