Frank I think many miss a key point on photography and silver. How many of those disposable 35mm jobs to you see ? Everyone and his mothers uncle uses them. I take digital snaps with my Sony mini dv and print sometimes or I scan existing pictures for my own enlargements from time to time but digital isn't cheaper when you include the consumable costs (and the time). It will get there I think but not for a while. Plus if your printer screws up it's your nickle and that paper ain't cheap.
