Rande, I'm not sure.. but I'm sorry if you got the impression that Kevin meant to endorse Napster and what it represents. I didn't interpret it that way. Also, I think the re-mixing is more about eliminating certain tracks off of an otherwise great musical compilation. There are always those bits of a CD that due to individual preferences, are not liked by various listeners. I do however have to agree that parsing together a whole bunch of unrelated notes or jingles would mostly result in a load of crap. I think what Kevin is referring to might more accurately be described as custom music, whereby the consumer is able to create their own list of tracks from what could come to be known as a 'virtual jukebox'.
