SO: Well this "candya$$" found the time to respond...<gg>

I debated as to whether I should as it was never my intention to have a pissing match with you, just a statement of differing views. It is not important if the rally off the Sept01 low was the beginning of a new bull market or just a nice rally. The fact is many stocks delivered stellar returns off that low, the kind the permabears were saying were history. In fact, the rally which began in Feb delivered some pretty darn good returns in select stocks as well.

First: I guess you missed my post to Stephen

Second: Since you have been listing the few stocks that did what you expected when you expected them to, I suggest everyone look at the charts for each of the stocks listed in the following posts and see which ones actually did as you were and have been expecting. From your 2/17 post..."You cannot have individual stocks locked in a time zone for the next six weeks while the major avgs are going to be buckling under huge historical selling pressure. The only possible outcome can be a major breakdown in prices overall. An event that should play out over the time frame that I mentioned."

Do not "buy" the action in WCOM.

For those that did not buy on 2/20, the 2/21 dip would have been the next best buying dip. WCOM went on to rally over 50% from the 2/20 pivot low before beginning a retrace. A pretty nice return for about a one month's worth of price action.

On the other hand stocks like QCOM and AOL have no wiggle room on their charts at all. A big push in prices right here would cause me to seriously change my view on things. Let me also say that I really doubt that their prices, based on their charts, will be able to mount any kind of breakout for at least the remainder of this month. ONCE AGAIN IF things continue to run. If not these prices will continue to be under huge pressure. I will be watching AMAT to see whether or not it can take out 48

QCOM and AOL both rallied, I guess it depends on what your definition of "big" is....you did not change your mind...<g>

Check out the charts for all the stocks mentioned in the following post...

...all but one of the stocks in this post are higher, with the exception of IVGN which followed the expectation.

You asked me to argue my view of the market against yours. I find that very difficult, I can't remember ever seeing a link to a chart illustrated by you to see what you are actually seeing. If my memory serves me, you rarely provide even a description of what you are seeing technically. Instead, you just provide what your technicals are telling you is going to happen. So, in keeping with the spirit of your post, allow me to respond in kind...what I was seeing "in the charts" on 2/18 was not what you were seeing "in the charts"...and please allow me to add..."we shall see", "the end of this week should tell the tell" or "next week should tell the tell" or the week after "should tell the tell" or the week after that should "tell the tell"...<g>

Regards,
LG

As stated above it was never my intention to get into a "pissing match" with you. However, if that is your intention pleased be advised I am the one in the magenta trunks...<gg>
