The fact is for the normal computer user Windows is just fine. In fact, many of them love it to death. For experienced computer buyers, they are going to look at the price of the box before anything else intitially. Apple loses this battle just about every time. It always amuses me how many people believe that Apple was Bill Gates main target. True, he did embrace the GUI but my feeling has always been that his main rival was and always has been IBM. After all who came after Win95 initially...not Apple but rather IBM with the OS2. What I would like to know is this: If there is a company that could REALLY benefit from taking over Apple could someone please tell me which company this might be?
