Remember the inventory analytics we have now didn't exist in 1991, therefore the "inventory snapback" which likely included stocking large warehouses, was probably more pronounced. It all comes out in the wash when the demand comes back, but I wonder about these restocking estimates based on what I've seen at Sun,cisco, dell etc.
