I wonder if the CSCO SAN news, when/if it materializes, will directly compete with ALL the SAN stocks? In other words: is it a switch of their own? Is it an HBA of their own? Or will it be a product that uses a partnership with one of the SAN stocks to create some other, new product?

FWIW, my inkling is that CSCO's product will compete with Brocade/McData and, based on the market is saying, won't be bad for QLGC. (And, likely, if it's good for QLGC, it's not as good for Emulex, but this might be QLGC leveraging their Ancor purchase (finally) into something that isn't an HBA deal, and thus doesn't really directly effect EMLX). You got a guess?
