Then we are on the same page<g> As a matter of fact to slow down the speed will screw the whole system.

If your users are promised 300kbs average

I don't think any carrier wanna do that, so they will lower the bar as low as possible until it endanger the customer take up.

However on the other hand since you can actually get much higher speed than you are promised to, it will be good for the long run.

If you take a look at Verizon's note about its express network you will notice the warning there about the variable speed you may get depending on the radio environment.
