Here's my scenario....their auditor decided they didn't want a roomate named "homicidal Hal"...and they lowered the boom on their last audit. In response GE is scrambling for liquidity to meet the impending writedowns on the balance sheet. Ugly? You bet, and it's a scenario that will be repeated in boardrooms all over America in Q2 and Q3.
