I just read two analysts reports on EMC --- Merrill Lynch and AG Edwards. They were in essential agreement that there was no immediate impetus for a rebound. but the second half of 02 will be an improvement. The part that I found most interesting was that both thought AutoIS was the product ot beat. Milunovich of ML said he was bullish on AutoIS, and that he expected a 2nd half rebound for EMC. Since I am a nontechie, I didn't follow the reasoning, just the conclusions. I'm trying not to think day-to-day on EMC, but will wait for action to develop. I am still convinced storage will be in significant demand. fred
