Another term of reminiscence, that. Reminding one of the small iced bun type cakes available at school. But this promised reqard was always virtual cake, good in anticipation but unfattening and unwholesome.
The opposite of a stout wedge, ultimately a little too airy.

What you might call an airy fairy cake.
