Tax Revolt - with an escrow "Truth Account" is a great idea Ray! There are enough taxpayers getting their finances wasted watching Congress fiddle while Rome burns to make that feasible. Corporations don't pay taxes anyway, so it's only the disenfranchised, by definition, who pay taxes. Time to get the word out on that one. The funny thing is, it might cause a slight shift towards either a flat tax or consumption tax, to counter-attack a major tax revolt, if it happened. That's the only way the public has any chance of influence on the political system, the purpose of which is to, at all costs, keep the public out of public affairs. I read recently someone called it a "polyarchy", small elite groups run things, while the rest see a bit of a show every couple years.
