Gold is heavy, you'll need a good stout reliable car to pack it around, check the springs on that Lexus. ;-) .... i just don't see these things as either/or, black/white, tech/gold, it's not like that imho ... true enough that one of gold's functions is as insurance against catastrophe, but that doesn't mean you need to see anybody endure disaster to benefit from its quite normal price recovery following a multi-year bear in the metal .... and it doesn't mean that people with interests in non-gold stocks need to see those holding gold stocks go broke ... i'd feel quite unbalanced without a foot in both camps, actually .... look, my little qcom-equivalent had a release today, and a conference call, at which a good time was had by all and as a group we've vowed to not whine much for at least a week - #reply-17213013
