I would bet money (actually I am by being long) that the reaction to the Fed change of bias to neutral will be positive. A first step confirmation of economic recovery. The Fed will need to take back the emergency cuts sometime, but not yet. Maybe June. If we hold at existing Fed Funds rate now with only change in bias, I think the market sees that as positive and supportive. No inflation in sight. Greenspan wants profit growth now more than anything.
