I was wondering when I would start hearing horror stories about Sprint. I didn't want to start it, though.

If I can just get disentangled from everything I ever signed up for from them, I will never touch the name again. The latest is that thought I terminated my home package with them, they kept me signed up for a 1-800 number that was part of it, and every time a wrong number calls me long distance that activates a basic $10 a month charge. I think the only way I can get it disconnected is simply to refuse to pay the bills. I am afraid that if I pay the bill they won't disconnect me.

At one point I had Sprint long distance, Sprint 800 service, Sprint PCS, a Sprint card, and Sprint earthlink. There are ALWAYS charges that one did not notice. The worst was a misunderstanding over the use the phone card in Europe. They bounced calls back and forth across the Atlantic and charged something like $12 a minute.
