Ali - I would disagree with Tony on the point of whether the past has use as a guide, predictor, indication, point of data - whatever you wish to call it. That was then - this is now is a glib, hip way of saying ignore the past because this time is different. Usually that's a dangerous path to follow, though of course not always. However, Of all the people to take on on this thread, you pick on Tony? Wow, you are hairtrigger.
