Yes, it is absurd.
Unless you define morality in relation to Christ, in which case your assertion is just a tautology.
With any reasonable view of morality, you only need to look at many of the non-christian religions to find morality without Christ. In fact, you'll find that Jesus was an immoral hypocrite himself. He taught non-anger, yet became angry. He taught not to call a person a fool, yet did it himself. He taught to honor your father and mother, then was contemptous of his own mother. Jesus lied to his brothers about going to the feast of the Tabernacles. He lied to the high priest, saying that he never taught secretly. And these are only the examples that we found out about from people who loved him! This man is hardly one to base morality on.>>

The truth doesn't COST anything.
It's FREE!!
And this is why mankind continues to war against our ONE Lord God in Heaven Jesus Christ.
For anything that mankind creates has to carry the seed of a claim - which is an agenda or ulterior purpose which cannot be disclosed for the truth would expose the claim which is A LIE and every LIE is a FRAUD.
If all I knew and understood was a morality of conditions, claims, controls and stipulations then I, too, would be enraged and angry with any fellow that came around and didn't dance and sing and acknowledge these things.
But once we begin to know and understand the truth - ie. that true morality and true religion is all about receiving and sharing our Lord's light, energy and Love freely and unconditionally with others then we will remove ourselves from the irrational and insane slavery to these claims and controls and costs which are all illusions and lies and frauds to begin with.

Mankind's world is NOT the reality of our Lord's energy, light and love. For mankind's world feeds off of claiming the Lord's energy, light and love for itself.
