1. How likely is a poisonous spider to be killed by a champagne cork?

When a poker player celebrates a grandslam win by popping a champagne bottle and the champagne cork hit the spider on a web which it has built between the head of the poker player and the intersect of two walls while the poker player had been sitting relatively still for quite a while.

2. If lions do not have sex for pleasure, why do they do it 700 times a day when mating season arrives?

Easy! Because the lions were too fast on the trigger (premature ejaculation) and each ejaculate was too small to impregnate the lioness. As other lions have mounted the same female(s) he wants (or at least tries) to be sure it is his stuff that scores! Because of premature ejaculation, each lion wants keeps on striving for that ooh-soo-good, ooh-la-la and lu-lu of a good long one in order to feel like the king of lions! Robert, the Bruce, saw the spider try 7 times before it succeeded in building its web in a cave. So, the lion, a much bigger creature is prepared to go for "it" 700 times!!!

3. Who did the yelling for 8 years, 7 days and 6 hours to heat that cup of coffee and what brand was it?

One Eric. He hasn't named the brand yet. But it's a mixture of roasted dandelion and hickory, and caramel with a touch of cinnamon and bergamot plus 3 drops of Chivas Regal.

4. Americans eat on the average 18 acres of pizza every day.

It's not that far-fetched at all!

You see 18 acres = (18 acres x 4840 sq. yds/acre) x (1296 sq. in/sq. yd) = (1.129 x 10^8 sq. in.).

Now one 14-inch pizza occupies (3.1415926 x 7 x 7) = 153.93 sq. in. So, this implies a daily consumption of [(1.129x10^8)/(153.93)] of 14" pizzas = 733,450 pizzas.

Let's assume 1 in 100 Americans or 3,000,000 Americans eat pizzas daily.

So, each American pizza-eater eats about

(733,450)/(3,000,000) = 0.244 pizza ~ one quarter

or ~2 slices of a 14" pizza a day -----

which is very credible!!!
