Hi MIke,
Small rollercoaster since change in bias. It's actually good news i think except for the memory of the relentless rise in rates starting two years ago. There are two key differences this time:
1. The memory of what last time produced, although some folks are now making the case that AG was perfect last time and we did have a soft landing, minor recession.
2. More importantly, there is a war going on and in a war, any fight against inflation takes a back seat. Inflation(potential inflation) tolerance will be higher this time around. We will need some bad inflation numbers to justify significantly higher rates.
Therefore i expect a rally from this point beginning late march/early april(if not sooner) after this weeks ipo/secondary financing is finished. (Got the last point from Maria Bartiromo while home ill yesterday. mike
