This kind of thing happens all the time with gold stocks.

Somebody sells a big block, or buys a big block right at the close, or some stops get taken out. With T.G, it also trades on the NYSE, so you can verify if it's a real move by the action over there.

I was holding a swing trade block, and didn't really worry when it dipped because it held up on NYSE. Had a nice run yesterday, so I was able to unload at a profit.

Don't know why gold stocks are susceptible to this, but it sometimes pays to put in a stink bid well below or above the trading level. It just might get hit.
