I would not characterize what they are saying as totalitarian in nature, but as a reponse to a hawkish American policy as it concerns the dictatorship in Iraq. Calling other countries "an axis of evil" does not usually make those named overly warm in return. The United States says Iraq is a fascist, totalitarian country, but good enough to supply with chemical weapons to use against Iran, not so long ago. How long are we going to punish Iraq for the Gulf War? And when is the US going to inspect other nation's weapons of mass destruction? Hint: Israel.
