This is Business Winstone 2001. AMD needs it to put the balance in their favor. Without older benchmarks like these, AMD would be looking quite a bit less compelling. As benchmarks like these become fewer and fewer, and are updated with newer versions, like Winstone 2002 (which favors the Pentium 4), then Intel will slowly come out ahead. It seems inevitable. AMD will need Hammer by the end of the year to remain competitive.
