based on a potential Ending Diagonal....a more 'flat' type ED. a perfect fit would be that todays high was wave 3 of the ED, and often the wave 4 returns to the "B" area of the wave 3 just seen. 1160ish. since 3 is shorter than wave 1 then 5 HAS TO BE shorter than 3 which was 23 points.
here's a quicky chart based on DOW doing same thing, SP points are added in blue...this was prepared earlier.

now its also viable that the ED on the chart was not happenning and that waves 1 and 2 were the corrective wave 4 of the run up since Feb. and in that case we may have JUST STARTED an ED with today's high terminating wave 1(abc) of an Ending Diagonal. it will be easy to tell in the next day or two. first lets see if the SP gets back to 1160 area then reverses back up towards 1175+.
