Last time I checked the US didn't have $30 trillion in debt. As of February 28th, the US Public Debt was $3.44 trillion. publicdebt.treas.gov

The internet is populated with crazies who know how to use a web browser but have no critical judgment. The $30 trillion debt number is some concocted fantasy that includes an estimate of every extant promissory note. Baldur is a crackpot who lost all his dough in a couple of Toronto penny stocks - you can see which ones on Raging Bull - and refuses to take responsibility for his stupidity, instead blaming the SEC, Wall Street and the US itself, which he describes as "cursed ground." The German-born woman who was the CEO of the company in which he "invested" is now using Baldur's money to bankroll a second career (following her first as a con artist) as an artist artist. Instead of travelling to Toronto to burn down her apartment building, which any self-respecting Viking would do (Baldur fancies himself a Nordic rape and pillage type) he spends his days polluting our bandwidth. For the squeamish, this is all public domain information so don't get a wedgie.
