There was a great interview on NPR with photographer that took that famous shot. He told the whole story of searching her out, he's been looking for her for 15 years....wonderful story. He is going to send her family to Mecca, at their request, and he is going to help her children to get an education.

I was amazed how good she looked after 17 years of refugee camps, 4 kids, poverty and warfare.
