My friends on another veggie board have learned that Burger King has confirmed that the veggie burgers will be grilled separately from the meat burgers. Of course, whether this is indeed followed by every store remains to be seen, but it's at least very promising that, corporately, BK seems to be sensitive to vegetarians' concerns.

And, of course, it's no coincidence that its rollout is timed with the Great American Meat-Out.

I'm planning to stop at a BK tomorrow to order one, just on principle. I think it would be great if vegetarians everywhere made an effort to do this. It may taste terrible, but who cares? At least the principle is terrific, and worth supporting :)
