Marginmike, I thought the Qcom chart showed a head and shoulders leading to the decline to 32, and yes we have rallied from there, but on lower volume than on the decline. We have not had any days over 20 million shares in this rally, but had many days over 20 million shares during the decline.

Can a cup and handle form immediately after a head and shoulders, since the cup and handle is a 'continuation' pattern, while the head and shoulders is part of a downtrend? It seems like we would need a reversal formation before we could have a cup and handle. I thought of the rally as a 'reaction' from the head and shoulders decline, with this reaction not reversing the trend, and at some point before too long the downtrend will continue...at least that is how I thought of it, I guess we will find out before too long.
