I believe JC was talking about cases where an innocent person was executed. In your example no one was executed.

Edit - I see you later posted 2 examples where allegedly innocent people where executed. I don't know enough about the details of the case to make an arguement for or against your opinion.

Do you really think there are more wrongfully convicted rapists than there are wrongfully convicted murderers? I can't imagine why anyone would think that. I mean, there is often an eye witness who got a close up look in a rape case.

There are probably more rapes then murders.

Also the appeals process is more liberal for people convicted of capital murder and facing execution.
