What points do you think where covered.

I replied to the first post in the recent series saying that it wasn't about where an innocent man was found guilty and then executed. I was correct when I said that but you also posted other cases where innocent people may have been executed. I edited my post to acknowledge that. I didn't make any point there other then the acknowledgment because I know nothing about the details of the cases other then what you posted.

The only other point I made was in response to -

"Do you really think there are more wrongfully convicted rapists than there are wrongfully convicted murderers? I can't imagine why anyone would think that. I mean, there is often an eye witness who got a close up look in a rape case."

My response was -

"There are probably more rapes then murders.

Also the appeals process is more liberal for people convicted of capital murder and facing execution."

Which perfectly answers your point. It doesn't address any other points you where making about capital punishment nor was it trying to address these points. In other posts you point out possible imperfections in the appeals process and also its high costs. Both of these are very relevant to the overall question, but are totally irrelevant to you comparison between convictions for rapes to executions for murders. That comparison is what I was replying to.

Do you still wonder if I have been reading your posts? If so why?

Note - I am undecided about capital punishment so I am not pushing an agenda, however I do tend to nit-pick flaws in peoples arguments, and since I'm not on either side in this I might put more effort into finding those flaws then making my own argument.
