sure, but a lot of people thought the economy was a dead cat bounce in nov/dec 99. the bearish probabilities are much lower than the bullish probabilities, thats why the p/c ratios show extreme bearishness when they get to 1 being bearish and making bearish bets is for speculators, not for investors, being bearish longer than two years in the last couple of hundred years has ended you up in a soup line -g-
