Dan,
What do you think of the notion that the Shrub wants to sell off the government of the U.S. to private interests and create a surfeit of shakedowns, er, skeikdoms in the private sector here and abroad. Cf.: Arundhati Roy's "Power Politics". A very strong indictment of our strong-arming Dept. of Commerce and our multiple mean spirited Mal-administrations, all trying to shake down the poor:

[[Yes, Bush and Cheney both involved themselves in screwing the citizens of Maharastra State, India, for the sake of Kenny Boy, a key bribe payer.]]
George II's private financier Kenny Boy is a perfect example of the shakedown scheme. Witness Dahbol, India:

What we'll have in this country, if the Bush mafia gets up a head of steam, is a complete dismemberment of the proper functioning of government, providing common needs like water, sewerage, roads and all that infrastructure jazz as well as the social net to aid the unfortunate, and replace it with a privatizing scheme that will make the air we breath a commodity to be traded on some sleazeball exchange like EnronOnLine.
Is this the future we deserve? Bush thinks so. And he's doing his damnedest to dim down the electorate so that they don't mind when they're told to bend over, again.
The charlatan who would strip our pockets to pay for a grossly ridiculous load of war toys that his daddy wants to unload on the guvvmint, is the guy who is playing "holier than thou" with Osama Bin Lost.
Do we really have to endure this claptrap maladministration?
Just wondering, Ray |
