I reviewed all the posts before investing (well, all the Stockhouse posts, the SI ones later). The Great Garlic Taste Debate was engaged in for quite a while.
It was finally resolved in favor of "No Taste" for Pennsaid.

Does this create a special danger of unintentionally or intentionally introducing toxic substances into the body when applying Pennsaid and at the very least requiring careful pre application cleansing of hands and also subsequently to application to avoid introducing harmful agents into the body?"
- In a word, yes.
This was part of the whole anti-DMSO hype that I referred to. Particularly in the sixties, it was asserted that DMSO would be the agent by which millions of drug-crazed hippies would introduce unlawful and ungodly substances into their bodies.
There was much made of the fact that the KGB and the CIA could use the substance to poison people, leaving little evidence of the medium by which the poison was introduced.
However, I can also point you to reams of information about people who use DMSO consistently and safely.
These include body-builders, arthritics, animal trainers, and everyday people like you and I, who use it for sprains, bruises, and so on.
DMSO is routinely bought and sold in the United States and Canada - and is widely used, medically, in much of the rest of the world.

One thing I've wondered about - is Pennsaid offered in a roll-on, as in the site above? And if not, why not?

It's not about winning or losing - it's about the truth: what we accept as proven.

Sound evidence, logical and rational thought: that is the basis of science, and the basis of the law.
But hell, if we're talkin' opinions - well, you can say any damned thing you want!
It's when people start confusing opinions with facts, that the debate goes off the rails.
