I knew GNSS have a integrated DVI receiver & A/D product, not sure if they've already integrated scaling engine. But you know scaler is not that hard to do, even Taiwanese copy cats know how to do it, the hard part it's DVI & 140M A/D. I don't know what's the pricing on GNSS, but 9 bucks seems very low, I would think it should sell @15.
I don't think CFO's leaving is that big a deal, but ADI's new product release is. But to GNSS's credit, I remember ADI has preliminary data on this chip almost 3 years ago(that's the main reason I didn't hold on to my chunk of shares which I bought @ average price ~13, sold it from 30 to 40). I were really surprised they just release it. Obviously, there is a lot of problems.
