A sad day when Dell shuts down Gone is the free parking in front of a $255/night Austin hotel.(Are you a Dell shareholder? Yes, I am.Then you can pull in behind the ropes and park in FRONT) Breakfast served by three white-coated waiters. More orange juice, Sir ? Coffee? Eggs?Sausage? Well yes, I may have some. Watching the market on my trusty 1993 SX 25-120 (25MHZ and 120 meg HD) as my Dell holdings climb $89,000 in one day which is more than my gross pay for a lifetime. One Dell leap turning into 8 Leaps worth maybe $18000 each. (one small leap for Dell, one giant leap for Dellheads) Visitors traveling from as far away as California and courageous un-armed NY Yankees arriving in Texas to watch 5 men and one simple chart on a stage describing how they will grow from one square to 4 squares to 9 squares of production and sales via on-line sales which would grow from $1 mm/day to $50/mm/day ( some of those who laughed at this outrageus concept are now banding together in hopes of merely surviving even after copying the Dell on-line sales concept) Regards Sig In retrospect, I may owe something to Three (JBN) for talking me in to buying that one Leap in 1997 There may be little left but what a rare and priceless adventure. Can a person get to meet and talk to Bill Gates, or Mr Sears, or Warren Buffett or Mr Armstrong without paying thru the nose? You can talk with Michael Dell in July just by "being there" - at the meetings .
