<I have come to believe that the fundamental driver of our current prosperity is the huge birth spike of the baby boom generation that peaked around 1960. Harry Dent has proven this conclusively, imo. If you believe Harry Dent's analysis, and I do, then the future holds a continuing economic boom until 2008 or 2009, followed by a long period of economic downturn and recession,>

Hang on there AC, what about we aliens? There are 5 billion of us [and another billion or so somewhere] bustling away, economically active, producing steel, sheep, wine, Toyotas and stuff to export to the USA. There are 1.2 billion Chinese who have signed up to buy CDMA from QUALCOMM. There is quite a lot going on.

The average age of those 5 billion is on the right side of 40. They all want to improve their lives and are working flat out to do so. That means production and sales!

They are driving the current prosperity of the USA [which invented and lot of technologies and owns a lot of the companies working with those 5 billion].

Alan Green$pan knows that which is why he didn't like the steel tariffs and what that trend will do to the current USA prosperity. If the 5 billion are cut adrift, USA prosperity will go into a nose dive.

People should listen to Uncle Al.

Hooray for we aliens, saving the USA! Making it and us richer.
