However, real investors do not normally listen to CNBS for its content its more like the equivalent of the "elevator music" of newsbroadcasting. It there, but you don't really hear it. Sure. I have it on in the background when someone online has mentioned something interesting will be on, like an Intel or related guy, or Greenspeak, etc. But when they already have the connection to somebody real and cut it off to go back to their ANALyst, that's it. I stopped reading the SJ Mercury News for similar reasons (agenda, not news taking priority).
