Unfortunately, reality demonstrates complete opposite of this propaganda.
Government power?
Government has NEVER had more power than under this administration. Government power increased under Reagan, Bush, and Clinton as well.
Self-aggrandizement?
The Republican beneficiaries of this administration are making money greater than any time in history.
You are sadly fooling yourself.
The individual, including yourself, has no choice whatsoever.
You can vote Republican or Democrat. If you look at the programs, votes, taxes, and expansion of government power into our homes and pocketbooks, you can have no other conclusion than they are all methodically lying to you.
But, if it makes you happy, keep the dream alive...
Maybe, someday, somewhere there will be an actual vote that reduces the power of government to confiscate and invade our lives, which isn't countermanded immediately by Congress or the administration, and if that is a Republican vote, more power to them. |
