Thank you for your comment, you are right of course, Dell is the fastest of the fast followers ever, and they have cleaned up in smaller servers, last time I looked they were screaming in those areas that cpq and hp had cleared the way for.

The exact same model business plan as the pc's. Translated, if you already know what you need, Dell is the place to buy it from, if there is any question, Dell is not ready to answer that now.

But I sense a disturbance in the force, there may be a flood gate opening for conversion to industry standard computing and the company that can offer the integration and the expertise and the product for the whole line might just be the only type of vendor to consider.

If the conversion happens very slowly as has been the case for the last two years, then Dell cleans up, if it starts happening more rapidly, HP, or should I say Carly-Packard may have a distinct advantage.

Either way, Intel is not at any disadvantage.*
