So you are dispensing with the idea that the WTC slaughter is a pretext for the Afghanistan slaughter?

No, perhaps you do. I think WTC was a good reason for overthrowing the Taliban government as it had given sanctuary to those responsible for the WTC slaughter. And for waging war on AlQaida. We didn't go to Afghanistan for the purpose of slaughtering innocents, though and you are wrong to compare our actions to those of terrorists.
