Years ago ....seems to me the number was it would take $40/barrel oil for something like oil shale to have a chance to compete.....hopefully we are a long ways off from oil at those prices....don't think the market will support many alternative sources of energy for a long time to come....oil is still to plentiful and efficient.....let's hope it stays that way...
