Thanks for pointing that out Gottfried. There were some other bottoms previously where the VIX gave a good input, but obviously it is just one factor to consider. Regarding AMAT, you and others on this thread are much more knowledgeable than I. Thanks for the input. I have not seen your charts recently for AMAT, which are of course very helpful. John
