I think we are much on the same wavelength. Except for the dependence on foreign oil part. So what if the oil comes from the Middle East. The best solution by far is reducing consumption dramatically, which is easy to achieve. But our congress just killed a bill mandating a 50% increase in gas mileage, hummmmmmmmm that equates to 50% less oil consumption. Oh well I guess the fat cat oil industry is more important than conservation and efficiency. So we don't need to drill wells we need autos that get 40 mph and that is easy
