Speaking of those funny looking windmills in California....i wonder if there was a lot concern for the environmental impact installing those had?.....or is it not pc to do so?.....or maybe it is only important criticize those projects that might turn a profit? The site DaveM posted shows that they did find the flaws in those plants which denotes inspections and concern for safety....i live within 2 miles of a nuclear plant and they seem to be on an "outage" as often as they are generating....and sure, we have concerns about the plant...but there was also much debate and hand wringing over attempts to build several gas powered generating plants in the area ... Personally...give me some of that nasty old electric ....for two bucks a day ..i will forego the joy of firewood lighting.
