You are unclear on the law.

When you participate with others in a felony, you are responsible for all consequences that ensue.

Tafero and Rhodes were ex-cons and jailhouse friends. Here's a rough breakdown of the felonies that Tafero participated in:

Resisting arrest
Murder of two police officers
Car theft (twice)
Carjacking
Kidnapping
The final roadblock shoot-out with police

Two cops were left to bleed to death on a Florida highway, like so much roadkill.

Did Jesse Tafero try to stop those killings? Did Jesse Tafero try to run away when the shooting started? Did Jesse Tafero try to get his children out of harm's way? Did Jesse Tafero try to stop the carjacking? The kidnapping?

Do you know the names of the dead officers, E?
Do you know if they left widows or children, E?

Since you are on record as proclaiming Tafero an "innocent man" ... do you care to go on record with any words to the loved ones those officers left behind?

Maybe something like, "Well, after all, that was their job."

Do you have any feelings about those officers, E?
