Yesterday's volume was nothing to right home about. It was one of the lighter days of the year.

I am not technically knowledgable to figure if strong buying of index PUT options observed yesterday, fear of much higher rates as implied by bond prices or just a lack of buyers was reason for what on first inspection looks like a very bad day.
