Politicians suck!

Imagine Greenspan was an advocate of gold before he was appointed. Now he talks and acts like he never was in favor of gold.

And O'Neill recruited from Alcoa for his sound management has turned politician.

Phil Gramm is a disgusting hypocrite. So is his Wendy. Very understandable as Enron is in the picture.

The dirty picture gets clearer and clearer all the time.

I recall that when Phil Gramm was presented with the GATA report and he became well acquainted with GATA's findings, he never bothered to push it through for review in Congress. He kept stalling for time! Not because the GATA report was all hokey and hogwash but because it would be so very embarrassing to the government. So, like the wily and swarmy bureaucrat that he was, he stonewalled it to cover his ass and his wife's and his buddies' asses, too.

Some folks on this thread seem to have a compulsion to ridicule GATA with a passion not because GATA's findings don't make sense but because they don't like to see a guy like Bill Murphy enjoying so much attention and making waves in so many places and even across the Big Pond! These folks must be wishing they themselves are the ones in the spotlight!

You are absolutely right in that many GATA critics can just "talk" and talk (hot air) but not "walk".
