Thier actions are proof that some Americans understand that fighting for what is right is a good thing to do. The liberals want to disarm law abiding Americans, and I think that says a lot about what they believe. They do not trust Americans to do what the brave souls on flight 93 did, nor do they encourage such behavior. Too risky, someone might get hurt. Better just lie down and do what they say.

As far as the cost of not defending America and your belief that the DOD is not up to the job I don't think you look at the entire picture. You look at one episode that happened and deem them a failure and insinuate that money is wasted on them. You are not factoring in all of the episodes they have thwarted and sum up their total performance as a failure and a waste. If the establishment truly had failed us we would not be in the position we are in. Maybe Russia would be number one and the whole world would be a communist system ruled by the government. Overall I like our position and our prospects to keep it. Since the Gov't's job is to PROTECT America, I say they should do it in every way possible.

Including the encouragement of individual Americans to look out for themselves. Keep in mind that they other 3 planes had no Todd Beemer's on board, and that maybe even they would have gone with the "safer" route had they not had cell phone calls that told them of the other flights.

Fight back, America. And God Bless the heroes of flight 93. May they rest in peace.
